OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
The CoCo Brother Live “Best Inspirational Singer in America Talent Search” Contest will begin:
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 and end on Thursday, February 15, 2012
Grand prize winner will be awarded:
A trip two (2) to Philadelphia, PA (airfare/hotel/ground transportation) to attend the Inspiration and Music Conference (“Conference”) on Saturday, March 10, 2012 and compete with other Conference attendees for a chance to win additional prizes.
The winner of the competition at the Conference will be awarded:
A single written and produced by James Fortune and Black Smoke Music that will be eligible to be placed on the nationally distributed compilation “Kerry Douglas Presents Gospel Mix, Vol. VI”, and (ii) Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) from Black Smoke Music.
HOW TO ENTER:
1. Listen to CoCo Brother Live weekdays (Monday through Friday) anytime after 6:00pm Central Time during the Contest Period for announcements about the Contest.
2. Contest participants must text “SINGER” to shortcode 77000 to enter. Standard text and data rates will apply. One entry per person via text message during the Contest Period.
3. All entries must be received by 11:59pm EST on February 15, 2012
4. Each week during the Contest Period, four (4) entrants will be chosen by random drawing from all eligible text entries received to participate in a live, on-air singing competition. Listeners will be instructed to call in at a designated number and vote for the contestants. The weekly winner will be determined based on the number of votes received from the public. Two (2) weekly winners will be determined through this process and will then compete against each other to determine the on-air grand prize winner.
